AVERY MAKERS
Bringing the maker movement to western north carolina
Avery Makers is a new concept that has been developed to bring western North Carolina into the maker movement. The program will (hopefully) help students by allowing them to use equipment like 3D printers, CNC machines, molding materials, soldering equipment, and professional help. The program would also help by allowing students to use this equipment, in order to bring ideas out to competitions, patents, or crowd-funding campaigns. Avery Makers would also carry out maker fairs in the area and display some of the great devices and resources that the program has to offer.
This is a very new project so there is not very much ready just yet. We shall see what the future holds.
